5 Ingredient Homemade Energy Bites

Homemade Energy Bites

This is a great breakfast or quick snack recipe from the incredible food blog Chefsavvy. This recipe is perfect for any multisport athlete as it is packed with protein, good fats, and healthy carbs. These homemade energy bites are easy to make and taste better than any store-bought alternative.

Energy Bites Raw

Only 5 ingredients

  1. Peanut Butter
  2. Old Fashioned Oats
  3. Flax Seeds
  4. Honey
  5. Chocolate Chips

Best thing about them:

  • No bake
  • Use 1 bowl to make
  • Can substitute in anything you like

When I say you can substitute any ingredient in these homemade energy bites, I really mean it. My wife and I like to use chia seeds in these bites instead of the flax seeds. We also usually add a scoop of protein powder (chocolate is so good). Omit the chocolate chips if you want since the honey makes them sweet enough. Or simply find a less-sweet chocolate chip like a dark chocolate high in cacao %. Chef Savvy recommends testing them with coconut shreds, cocoa powder, or even cranberries.
